I’m excited to share a post from my daughter today!! The Bible says train them up in the way of the Lord!!! Such insight– stop comparing yourself to others!

Let’s look at apples and a few of their benefits. Apples are high in potassium, a mineral used to help fight high blood pressure. The apple’s bright colors are great for the eyes. Apples are also packed with fiber which reduces cholesterol. There are a variety of ways you can eat apples. They can be a good little snack with peanut butter. You can have them as candied apples, baked apples, dried apples or you can eat them plain. There is a saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”.
Now, let’s examine some benefits of oranges. Oranges are full of Vitamin C which boosts the immune system. The orange’s skin also helps prevent heart diseases. Oranges help with the skin. Oranges make for a wonderful snack and a refreshing morning drink. Sadly, oranges are not as versatile as apple and there is also nothing that rhymes with orange and it is longer and harder to spell.
Are apples better than oranges? No!!
They look different. They smell different. Their names are different. But they are both a great source of nutritious value. They both are a great snack. They both have their place of perfection. They are both fruit with unique identities and qualities. They are unique in their own right, which is why we could never compare an apple to an orange.
We are the same way, the Lord created us, as individuals, in His own image but He created us with differences. We all have our own unique assignments and purposes here on this Earth. Although, you may find people with similar characteristics or even have someone who look like you, you bring something different to this earth that no one else does. You have your own unique qualities. You should never compare yourself to someone else. When you do you lose sight of your authentic identity.
Be comfortable with you and you will become limitless. The Lord has personally placed in you all you will need for your own specific assignment. So let’s take a moment to celebrate each other instead of comparing ourselves to someone else.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:14
